Background


Ms. Alyson Banks is a Registered General Nurse with 30 years healthcare experience. She has a broad range of expertise across Specialist fields of Oncology and Palliative Care. She has progressed through leadership positions from Clinical Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Specialist and Nursing Administration. Intermittently throughout her career she has continued to upskill to maintain her general training competency to include a qualification in Nurse Prescribing from the University of Galway.
Her current role in Senior Management at Blackrock Health in Ireland has taught her of the importance of effective collaboration within a team and maintaining a Culture of Safety. Ms. Banks has led successful Joint Commission International surveys and believes the key to success is effective preparation with a shared commitment and understanding.
