Create Effective Policies

Clear and effective policies are quality builders. A results-oriented policy structure guides provider and staff behaviors in the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Let us help you develop, implement, and maintain an up-to-date, standards-driven policy structure.

When you work with JCI policy experts, you will deepen your understanding of effective policies and create custom policies that reflect your performance expectations. Together, we will work on policy development that covers definitions, approved formats, tracking forms, policy and procedure writing, and more. This hands-on approach helps you to create an effective and sustainable system.

Policy Development and Management Workshops

JCI experts conduct various types of on-site Policy Development and Management Workshops:

  • The one-day workshop provides policy development basics and explains the methodology for developing your own policies
  • The three-day workshop provides the same foundational materials plus experiences in writing clear policies, establishing a policy system, and anticipating future changes
  • The five-day workshop is our most intensive offering for those organizations who desire a full hands-on approach.

The policy workshop can be conveniently and effectively combined with one or more of several workshops such as the Quality Improvement and Management Workshop. If needed, off-site follow-up assistance on specific, related topics can also be arranged. Your JCI consultant will advise you on how your organization can get the most value from a workshop.
