(OAK BROOK, Illinois, USA, 12 October 2022) – Joint Commission International (JCI) today announced the availability of Tracers with AMP® for JCI-accredited hospitals and academic medical centers. Tracers with AMP is a secure, web-based and mobile platform that allows healthcare organizations to efficiently collect, analyze and visualize data on JCI standards and rounding activities related to patient safety, nursing, facilities management, infection prevention, leadership and more.

Tracers with AMP provides user-friendly, interactive dashboards and easy-to-build automated reports. Insights from these dashboards and reports can help organizations proactively identify risk areas and prioritize patient safety and quality improvements. Key benefits of Tracers with AMP include:

  • Capability to consolidate data collection systems with a single, integrated platform.
  • Ability to build interactive reports and dashboards to view and analyze data across departments and locations.
  • Comprehensive set of tracer questions that are linked to Measurable Elements (MEs) to track data for JCI accreditation readiness.
  • Opportunity to gain operational efficiencies with the accreditation readiness process by staying compliant with JCI standards and proactively managing patient safety risks.
  • Delegation of tracer scoring assignments across multiple teams and/or departments, resulting in system-wide transparency.
  • Guidance from a clinical advisor who is a JCI standards and tracer methodology expert.

“Safe patient care depends on the right data and the right decisions at the right time,” says David Qu, global vice president, Publications, Education and Electronic Products, JCI. “A market-leading data collection and analytics platform in the United States, we are thrilled to extend Tracers with AMP to the international market.
