Mr. Mike Chihoski, Consultant, Joint Commission International
Mr. Michael Chihoski is an Environment of Care Consultant with Joint Commission Resources and Joint Commission International. Mr. Chihoski provides expert consulting services to all areas of the physical environment including Life Safety, Environment of Care, Emergency Management, and Safe Health Design. Throughout his career Mr. Chihoski has been involved in more than 1,500 projects for more than 350 hospitals worldwide.
Mr. Saravut Tandtiprasut, Country Operation Director, Sodexo Thailand
Mr. Saravut oversees Sodexo’s operations in Thailand Healthcare Services, many of which are premium and JCI accredited hospitals. Sodexo’s services include Facility Management, Food Service, Security, Bio Medical and Housekeeping. In this role, Saravut has gained years of hands on experience in the interpretations of JCI FMS standards and translating Measurable Elements into operational perspective, planning, implementation and challenges. He has managed over 20 JCI accreditation audits in Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam.
Nick Robinson, Director (Asia-Pacific), VK Architects and Engineers
Nick Robinson is a Director of VKA Healthcare which provides healthcare architecture, engineering and project management services across Asia. Nick is a Registered and Chartered English Architect, but in his 30+ year career, he has worked an equal time for design, contractor and client organizations. Based in Vietnam for 11+ years, he has spent the second half of that delivering designs for public and private sector hospitals. He is also founding Director of an NGO that trains Doctors and Nurses in Neonatal Care.
Thomas Kozlowski, PhD, Principal Consultant, Joint Commission International
Dr. Thomas Kozlowski joined Joint Commission Resources in 2001 and subsequently consulted with both domestic and international health care organizations in the areas of accreditation readiness and standards compliance. Dr. Kozlowski’s consulting expertise in hospital, ambulatory care, behavioral health care, and long term care settings includes operational assessment; patient safety assessment; environment of care; executive leadership and governing bodies; performance improvement; implementation strategies for rapid response teams; electronic health record assessment; and incorporating tracer methodology and the periodic performance review as management tools. Dr. Kozlowski has consulted internationally in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas.
