Dr. Marale Atechian has 12 years of experience in the field of health care quality management, risk management and safety standards; she led and contributed in the achievement of National and Joint Commission International accreditations within her organization.
Dr. Atechian has many years of experience in leadership and management holding increasing senior responsibilities; she was actively involved in the development of strategic plans, quality improvement plans and hospital-wide policies. She has specialized experience in patient safety, environment of care, infection control and medication management and use with a strong expertise in patient care systems’ designs and analysis.
Dr. Atechian has a full knowledge of Joint Commission International accreditation standards, Lebanese Ministry of Public Health Accreditation Standards, Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSAS 18001), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2005) and Quality Management system (ISO 9001).
