Dr. Alejandro Dizon has over 25 years of experience in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training, administrative and leadership positions in medical education and quality and patient safety. He is a General Surgeon by training and clinical practice with a special interest in breast & thyroid surgery. He has dedicated 18 years in leadership positions in quality improvement and patient safety in St. Luke’s Medical Center in the Philippines and has been a pioneer in the advocacy and promotion of patient safety and quality in health care in various professional medical, paramedical and health care related associations in the Philippines.
