Dr. Abha Shroff had an active role in the implementation and maintenance of the Joint Commission International Standards for Ambulatory Care in her current position as the Medical Director of Shroff Eye Hospital. She has completed international consulting for hospitals in the Middle East, Asia, and Europe. She has also conducted consultations with the Joint Commission International Clinical Laboratory Standards in the Middle East. She has provided training at Joint Commission International Practica in Dubai, Singapore, Indonesia, Tokyo, and Miami.
Shroff Eye Hospital was a Joint Commission International accredited organization from 2006 until 2021. Dr. Shroff is involved in the conduction and coordination of clinical trials, formulation of Ethics Committee guidelines, and development of policies, protocols and procedures for infection control and implementation of the national accreditation standards at Shroff Eye Hospital.
