Dr. Subashnie Devkaran is an expert in quality, patient safety, risk management and accreditation. She has held several senior leadership positions in quality and patient safety in the Middle East and South Africa. She led various hospitals through quality certification, hospital accreditation/ re-accreditation and regulatory audit programs. She continues to serve on numerous regulatory committees and leadership societies. Dr. Devkaran regularly speaks at international conferences and has published several research papers and coauthored books on health care quality.

Dr. Devkaran’s consulting expertise includes development of quality/performance improvement systems; evaluation of clinical processes; use of data to measure performance; risk assessment and proactive risk reduction, board engagement for quality, and survey process preparation.
