2013 Singapore Practicum Attracts Health Care Professionals New to JCI Accreditation

Added on 17 April 2013 in General News

Some 120 health care professionals, many of them new to the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation process, attended the 2013 Singapore International Practicum on Accreditation and Quality Improvement 8-12 April 2013.

Participants learned about the JCI accreditation "journey," from an introduction to JCI's standards and survey process through detailed, hands-on survey simulations that gave attendees a feel for what truly happens when their organization experiences a JCI survey. "Lessons learned" sessions offered attendees practical advice on accreditation preparation and maintenance from their peers at JCI-accredited organizations.
