Free Conference: Patient Safety in the Hospital: Systemic Approach to International Accreditation 

On 3 April 2009, Joint Commission International (JCI), in collaboration with Locarno Regional Hospital, will host a conference entitled “Patient Safety in the Hospital: Systemic Approach to International Accreditation.” The conference, which will be available free of charge, will provide participants with concrete tools needed to understand the importance of accreditation for excellence as a systemic preventive approach to safety, and to make the experience of the Locarno Regional Hospital (EOC), as the first Swiss hospital accredited by an international program, available to the health professionals. JCI representatives speaking include:
