Claudia Jorgenson Named Associate Director in the Department of Standards Development and Interpretation

Claudia Jorgenson has joined Joint Commission International (JCI) as associate director in the Department of Standards Development and Interpretation. In this role, Claudia works with JCI taskforces and committees in the international standards development and revision process and manages the international standards interpretation process.
 
Claudia holds a B.A. in Nursing from Elmhurst College and a M.S.N. from Rush University, Chicago. She has significant clinical and operational experience in hospital-wide nursing operations and emergency, trauma, and critical care. Most recently, Claudia was Director of Professional Practice with the Emergency Nurses Association. Prior to that, Claudia served as Director of Nursing Operations for Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago, Senior Consultant with Procura Healthcare also in Chicago and Clinical Manager in the Emergency Department with Advocate Health Care System in Oak Brook. Claudia also has an extensive background in hospital and professional regulatory issues as well as nursing education, as a legal nurse consultant, and in outcomes tracking and analysis.
