Free Conference: Patient Safety in the Hospital: Systemic Approach to International Accreditation I am excited to write to you this month to inform you of a special free event! On 3 April, 2009, I am pleased to announce JCI has organized an event in collaboration with EOC at the University of Lugano, Switzerland. The conference's purpose is to provide participants with concrete tools, in order to understand the importance of accreditation for excellence as a systemic preventive approach to safety, and to make the experience of the
Locarno Regional Hospital (EOC), as the first Swiss hospital accredited by an international program, available to the health professionals.
The event is free of charge and is intended for: Hospital Directors, Medical Directors, Nursing Department Heads, Heads of Quality, Risk Managers, Pharmacists, other health staff and health insurers. Below I have provided links to the program, including the agenda and speakers.
