Bruce J. Frederick, RN, MN

With more than 40 years in the health care industry, Bruce Frederick brings extensive national and international hospital management experience in the operations of multi-institutional acute care settings, including medical center planning, hospital administration, patient care, ambulatory care services administration, program development, quality improvement, facility planning, human resource issues, and broad fiscal responsibility.
Mr. Frederick has served in chief executive officer, chief operating officer, and nursing executive roles. He worked for more than 25 years as chief nurse in acute care hospitals ranging in size from 100 beds to 1100 beds. Mr. Frederick has successfully prepared large institutions for Joint Commission accreditation by implementing standards of care and revising quality improvement plans in patient care settings. His experience with St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN, part of the Mayo Clinic, included leadership for 1800 FTE’s and management of a $69 million budget. Most recently he provided leadership to the successful start up of a 74-bed surgical specialty hospital including all phases of planning and operations.
Mr. Frederick received his Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin; and his Master’s in Nursing - Nursing Administration, from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. He is affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives.
