Dr. Ghoneim has more than 25 years of experience in health care with expertise in leadership and management; quality management and patient safety; and clinical experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Women's Health.

Dr. Ghoneim has consulted nationally (Saudi Arabia) with small and large systems in acute care and behavioral health. He also surveyed the largest private and governmental health care institutions in Saudi Arabia (western region) as a consultant surveyor and team leader.

Dr. Ghoneim has more than 10 years leadership and management experience in operations with increasing senior leadership responsibilities. Currently he is the CEO of Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, one of Saudi Arabia's largest private health care institutions. He is a renowned local expert in risk management and performance improvement projects, a recognized educator and has participated in CPHQ courses. He has also attended multiple successful JCI accreditation events as an active leader.    

In past positions, Dr. Ghoneim served as Interim Chairman of Obstetrics and Genecology Department, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit and Risk Manager at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; Executive Director for Medical Nursing and Clinical Affairs, Dr. Soliman Fakeeh Hospital, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia; and Consultant Surveyor for Makkah Region Quality Program, Saudi Arabia.

Dr. Ghoneim received his MBBCh, MSc. Obstetrics and Gynecology, and MD in Obstetrics and Gynecology from C airo University, Egypt.
