The Joint Commission Organization
Joint Commission Resources (JCR), an affiliate of The Joint Commission, is the official publisher and educator of The Joint Commission.
The Joint Commission is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to continuously improving the safety and quality of care provided to the public. The Joint Commission is the nation's principal standards setter and evaluator for a variety of health care organizations.
JCR is an expert resource for health care organizations, providing consulting services, educational services and publications to assist in improving quality and safety and to help in meeting the accreditation standards of The Joint Commission. JCR provides consulting services independently from The Joint Commission and in a fully confidential manner.
Joint Commission International (JCI) is a division of Joint Commission Resources, Inc. JCI provides leadership in international health care accreditation and quality improvement.
Accreditation standards, policies, procedures and evaluation methods evolve and change on a continuous basis. Thus, JCI makes a significant investment in keeping our consultants, surveyors and accreditation partners up to date through continuous education and re-training. Please note that only those individuals and partners specifically referenced or listed on the JCI web site have benefited from this continuous education process.
