The Practicum's comprehensive program thoroughly prepares you for accreditation or reaccreditation. This program is especially helpful to teach new staff about the JCI accreditation process and standards.

- JCI’s tracer methodology (including an in-hospital tracer demonstration)

- Recent changes in the JCI standards
- JCI’s post-survey process for determining whether or not an organization should receive accreditation, including our decision rules.
- The most challenging standards
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
- Continual improvement
- The cost of accreditation
