International Library of Measures

The 4th Edition International Standards for Hospitals (Effective 1 January 2011) require organizations to select five (5) clinical measures from the JCI International Library of Measures (see QPS.3.1). In addition, the Clinical Care Program Certification requirements include the need for programs to choose at least two (2) of their four (4) measures from the JCI International Library of Measures. Accredited organizations and certified programs will be able to access the Measurement Information Sheets, which provide a full description of the measure with data definitions and all associated collection criteria, through the Resource Center for Accredited Organizations after 25 August 2010.
