JCI Translations: New Korean and Russian Translations of JCI Best-Sellers

Three new translations of Joint Commission Resources publications have been published—two in Korean and one in Russian.

A Korean version of Joint Commission International Accreditation Standards for Hospitals, Third Edition, is now available. The translation was prepared by the Korean Hospital Association (KHA), furthering the recent partnership between KHA and Joint Commission International (JCI). Read more about the KHA/JCI alliance in the July 2009 issue of JCInsight. KHA will also translate the fourth edition of the JCI hospital standards when they are published in July 2010 (see article on that publication elsewhere in this issue).

The popular Patient Safety Pocket Guide, Second Edition is now available in both Korean and Russian. The Korean version was translated by the Korean Institute of Medicine; the Russian translation was provided by Geotar Media Publishing Group. Both translations can be purchased by using the Web links provided below.
