Staff Changes at JCI Accreditation
Ann Jacobson, Executive Director, International Accreditation, has announced the following changes to her department:
Siew Lee Cheng is now Associate Director, International Accreditation. Her responsibilities are to plan, organize and direct the quality monitoring and safety program, as well as the client post-survey follow-up activities, including written progress reports, strategic improvement plans (SIP) and intra-cycle progress reviews. Siew Lee also will be the JCIA liaison to information technology (IT) for developing and maintaining the electronic report tools used by surveyors and clients.
In her current role as Associate Director, International Accreditation, Brenda White will now have responsibility for coordinating and overseeing the on-site survey process, survey report preparation and review, as well as to develop and coordinate the programs for surveyor and team leader orientation, training, and competency certification.
Barbara Cary is now Client Services Representative (CSR). Barbara, formerly Secretary, will work closely with CSR Ivis Ortiz to coordinate the day-to-day pre/post survey activities, including survey applications, contracts, scheduling surveys and surveyors, customer satisfaction process, issuing accreditation certificates, maintaining customer tracking, and engagement systems.
Marilyn Ferber, Executive Assistant for the Standards department, will now also provide administrative support to the Accreditation department.
Richard Clinard continues as Manager, International Accreditation. His new responsibilities include developing, organizing, and directing the department operations related to the pre-and post-survey client services activities, customer relationship management and tracking, engagement scheduling, and resource management systems.
“These changes will enhance International Accreditation operations in order to better manage our continual growth and complexity,” Jacobson says. “Additionally, I feel fortunate that our department has staff with expertise in the Lean Six Sigma methodology. Richard is a certified black belt by the American Society of Quality (ASQ) and Siew Lee is a Enterprise certified green belt. In their new roles, Richard and Siew Lee will also assist our department in performance improvement activities designed to transform our internal systems into lean, streamlined processes.”
