will present a pre-conference seminar, “Understanding the Joint Commission International Standards.” This session provides a broad overview of Joint Commission International as well as the process and methodology behind international accreditation. Sessions include the International Patient Safety Goals, the accreditation process, the evaluation process and decision rules, and an overview of the JCI hospital and primary care standards. Ms. Nellie Yeo, MBA, MN, Consultant, Joint Commission International and chief quality officer, National Healthcare Group, Singapore, will also speak.
