Hospital Executive Briefings Set for October and November 2009

The 2009 Joint Commission International Executive Briefings are scheduled as follows:
•    27–29 October, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
•    4–6 November, Genoa, Italy

New to this year’s Briefings:
•    Content for every accreditation program—not just hospitals!
•     Panel discussion in which participants are invited to apply to present good practices activities from their organization
      (application required; click here to download). During these sessions, presenters should be prepared to share with the
      participants the activities and strategies used by their organization to meet expectations related to the topic of discussion
      by the panel. Please note: All applications are due 15 August 2009.


A draft agenda for both events is as follows. The first two days of both Briefings include intensive discussion and exploration of the latest accreditation process news; the third day features an optional hospital tour.
