Conferences and Seminars
Joint Commission International hosts a series of educational events to help organizations around the world meet their accreditation, quality improvement, and patient safety goals.
Practicums
JCI’s International Practicum provides comprehensive education for organizations seeking accreditation or reaccreditation. The practicum explains the JCI process, improvement philosophy, standards, and methodology. In addition, the practicum features workshop sessions that train participants on vital improvement techniques like Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA). Finally, a portion of the program will be conducted in a JCI accredited organization, where JCI faculty members will demonstrate the tracer methodology—the key method that JCI surveyors use to assess compliance with JCI standards. Learn More about upcoming practicums.
Seminars
JCI also offers smaller programs to help organizations meet their patient safety, quality improvement, and accreditation goals. Check back often for new offerings.
US Programs
Joint Commission Resources, JCI’s counterpart, offers a series of patient safety and quality improvement programs that may help international organizations improve their outcomes and processes. Joint Commission Resources’ accreditation programs focus on the US standards, and are not appropriate for international organizations which will be surveyed under the JCI International Standards.
