Introductory Consultation
-
For organizations who wish to improve patient safety and quaity of care, identify their strengths and challenges in relation to meeting international standards or become familiar with the JCI accreditation preparation process, this consultation offers highly customized education, high level assessment and practical advice to encourage moving forward.
Organizational Assessment
–
This consultation provides an in-depth review of your organization’s ability to meet the JCIA standards for hospital, laboratory, ambulatory care, continuum of care, medical transport services, or Disease or Specific-Condition care, and results in a comprehensive, actionable report.
Ongoing Technical Assistance
–
Following any on-site consultation, in order to help your organization maintain momentum, we offer additional off-site support. Off-site consulting may include regular e-mail communications, review of policies and procedures, organizational plans, or quality improvement data via e-mail or facsimile communication as well as periodic conference calls or videoconferences.
Mock Survey
–
For an organization well along in preparation, a mock survey simulates the actual JCI accreditation survey process and offers a comprehensive assessment of accreditation readiness. Mock surveys are recommended approximately 6 months prior to scheduled survey.
Patient Safety, Medication Management, Infection Control , or Facility Design Technical Assistance
– We offer focused assessments in any of these key areas. Expert practice leaders carefully review your organization’s procedures and practices, identify areas for improvement, and provide practical evidence-based tools and advice to improve safety and quality of patient care.
Customized Education Services

We provide education programs specific to an organization’s needs or request. This may include training on JCI standards, the accreditation process, infection control, patient safety, quality management, medication management, tracer methodology, International Patient Safety Goals and other patient safety and quality related topics.
Facilities Management

We offer an in-depth review of an organization’s facilities and structure as they related to patient safety. Our Patient Safe Design consultation is available for organizations with planned or existing structures, or those undergoing renovation.
Off-Site Document Review

We provide expert review of healthcare related policies and procedures to assist organizations who wish to align patient care practices with international standards.
JCI Practica
–
JCI provides week-long, in-depth education programs facilitated by highly expert US and international faculty regarding patient safety and quality management several times a year in different regions of the world.

International Self Assessment System (ISAS)

This is a comprehensive, Web-based tool that helps organizations assess their patient safety and quality care policies and practices against Joint Commissional International Standards for Hospitals.We offer 90-day free trials of ISAS.
